Charlie has over 40 years of experience in designing, implementing, documenting and presenting geological and mineral exploration projects within Canada and internationally. During his 34-year career at the Saskatchewan Geological Survey, he managed and executed various iron ore, VMS, gold, uranium, rare earth elements and sediment-hosted Pb-Zn deposits. He joined Triex Minerals in 2007 where he completed a number of uranium exploration projects in the Athabasca Basin of northern Saskatchewan and in the Hornby Basin in Nunavut. Since 2009, Charlie has provided geological consulting services on gold, uranium and rare earth element exploration programs, supervised several successful gold diamond drill programs, and completed deposit and regional compilations. Charlie has authored over 100 papers and abstracts published in provincial, national and international journals. He has also published numerous geology maps, co-edited Saskatchewan Geological Society symposium volumes, and other published materials. He is a registered member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists and is active in a number of professional organizations. Charlie was inducted into the Saskatchewan Geological Society Geoscience Honor Roll for his significant contributions to the understanding of Saskatchewan geoscience, and to the development of the province's mineral resources.
