Mr. Dueck is a Geological Engineer-in-Training who has worked in the resource industry since his graduation from the University of Saskatchewan in 2010. Brett's past industry experience has been as an oil field well operator in Grande Prairie, AB and as a reservoir engineering student at Encana Corporation in Calgary, AB.
At North Rim, Brett has been involved in the drilling and coring of over 40 potash exploration holes in locations such as Saskatchewan, North Dakota, Arizona, and Utah. His responsibilities as drilling engineer include drilling program design, sub-contractor coordination, and permitting/licensing. He also typically completes the project management of these projects which includes cost tracking, invoice approval, and scheduling. All of Brett's drilling programs and data collection for exploration projects have followed the NI 43-101 guidelines set out by CIM. He has also been involved in the drilling and completion of disposal and gas storage wells.
Brett has contributed to a number of resource estimates and NI 43-101 reports for potash junior companies.
Brett Dueck has been a registered member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan since 2010.
